About the event
Our commemoration of October 7th will share poignant poems from a newly published book, Shivah. of described below. In addition, this hour-long memorial will include Hebrew and English songs, traditional prayers including Kaddish. The memorial will be led by Rabbi Dov Gartenberg who invites participants to volunteer to read poems and chant prayers. Once you register, you will receive the Zoom link in the confirmation letter.

In the months following the horrors of October 7th, Israelis wrote poems to express the nation’s feelings and emotions.
