About the event
Alex Simon, Gabriella Sonabend and their daughter Frieda have have again graciously opened their home to us for a potluck dinner and a rousing Shabbat musical/singing gathering in Santa Fe. We will begin with a delicious potluck dinner. This will be followed by singing led by the Oneg Shabbos Ensemble (including our host Alex) and Rabbi Dov Gartenberg. We will be singing Shabbat table songs, Nigunim, and Jewish folk music. Enjoy a warm, spiritual and joyful Shabbat experience with new friends and old.
The schedule for the evening is:
5:30 to 6:00 PM Arrival, snack, settling in.
6:00-7:00pm Shabbat Potluck Dinner with Shabbat rituals
7:00 to 8:15pm Singing, Dancing, and overall joyousness with the Oneg Shabbos Ensemble
Shabbat with Friends gatherings are open to the community, multigenerational, kid-friendly and free. Children are always welcome. Please pre-register to receive the address of the host and to sign up for a potluck dish.
